Introducing re:write
Our Re:Write series is designed to reward critical thinking, research, and creativity.
Each round presents a new set of real-world prompts inspired by client challenges we’ve already solved — giving participants the chance to showcase how they think, write, and communicate solutions effectively.
Whether you’re a college student, writer, small business owner, or creative professional, this contest is open to anyone who can communicate ideas clearly, creatively, and with purpose.
Each entry is read and scored by a real person — not AI — and we’re also using this contest to find consistent writers for ongoing opportunities. Even outside the contest, you’re welcome to pitch articles for free for potential publication or collaboration.
How It Works
Submit as many entries as you’d like — $5 per submission, which goes directly to human reviewers.
Submissions close at 100 entries per cycle (smaller pool = higher odds of winning).
Entries are graded in three rounds:
Readability, Organization, and Clarity
Accuracy
Attention to Detail
Length is not a requirement. We’re looking for submissions that express ideas clearly and succinctly while still showing full understanding of the problem.
Once 100 submissions are reached, that cycle closes and new prompts are released for the next Re:Write round.
Prizes
1st Place: $100
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $25
4th & 5th Place: Codes for two free submissions + one additional free submission in any future Re:Write cycle.
In the event of high participation, both prize amounts and entry limits may increase.
Who Can Enter
Open to anyone, anywhere, of any age — students, freelancers, entrepreneurs, or anyone who loves to write and solve problems.
Participants must have a valid method for receiving payment.
Re:Write and its partners are not responsible for misuse of financial platforms.
Current Re:Write Prompts
These prompts are inspired by real-world client projects — designed to test your ability to think critically, write clearly, and propose practical yet creative solutions.
1. Professional Sports Team – Crypto Loyalty Program
Pitch a loyalty program using a professional sports team’s own cryptocurrency token.
Design tiered rewards based on token holdings. Examples might include:
1 token = 1 free guest ticket per month
5 tokens = signed rookie cards or exclusive team merchandise
10+ tokens = VIP access to events or team experiences
Explain how this program would increase fan engagement, strengthen community loyalty, and potentially create a new stream of revenue.
2. Professional Athlete – Lifestyle Content Plan
Develop a content plan for a professional athlete who primarily posts fashion and lifestyle content rather than sports clips.
The goal: shift focus toward training and day-to-day performance while maintaining a luxury lifestyle brand aesthetic.
Consider how to attract high-end athletic wear sponsors (like Alo, Lululemon, or Nike Women’s Line) through video themes, captions, and visuals.
3. Personal Trainer – Caption-Focused Strategy
Create a content plan that centers around impactful captions paired with training videos.
The trainer’s brand should emphasize mobility, functional movement, and everyday athletic applications.
Explain how your strategy would showcase their knowledge and attract clients looking to improve flexibility, posture, or daily performance.
4. Premium / Luxury Athletic Wear Brand – Product Design & Manufacturing
Propose a concept for a premium athletic wear line that combines functionality with luxury.
Focus on features like:
Resistance to odor
Shape retention (especially in arm cuffs and collars)
Thermal regulation
Subtle shaping elements that flatter without restricting movement
Include details on fabric selection (e.g., cotton-spandex blends, merino wool), GSM, and manufacturing considerations like seam placement and stretch tolerance.
5. International Sports Scouting Service – Tokenized Loyalty Rewards
Pitch the same style of crypto-based loyalty program as the sports team prompt, but for an international scouting service that connects players with coaches and pro teams.
Propose token-based incentives such as:
1 token = free showcase entry
5 tokens = highlight video review or personalized scouting notes
10+ tokens = direct mentorship or introductions to recruiters
Explain how this would boost engagement, improve event turnout, and strengthen athlete–scout relationships.
6. Gourmet Snack / E-Commerce Brand – Sustainable Packaging
Analyze an existing small gourmet snack company’s packaging process.
Currently, they use thermal food bags, Nordic Ice dry ice packs, and plastic liners — resulting in high waste and labor time.
Propose a more efficient or eco-friendly packaging solution that saves time or cost without sacrificing product quality.
Example solutions could include biodegradable liners, reusable insulated sleeves, or modular packaging systems.
7. Gourmet Snack / E-Commerce Brand – Digital Loyalty Program
Using the same business as above, pitch a digital rewards system similar to the sports and scouting examples.
Offer tiered perks for repeat customers, such as:
1 token = free add-on or small item
5 tokens = early access to new products
10+ tokens = subscription box or VIP sampling perks
Focus on how this would increase repeat sales, retention, and brand loyalty through digital engagement.
